

The Warzone patch also nerfed the Mac-10 SMG, the game’s strongest close-quarters weapon at the moment, and the Type 63, which is sort of like a slightly-less-powerful version of the DMR 14. The recoil increase should mean that you at least have to be more accurate to land the few shots needed to take out your target, but in the hands of a good player it seems like the DMR might still be the go-to gun for now. As it turns out, it wasn’t just headshots that were strong on the DMR, but body shots as well.

Unfortunately, according to some players, it wasn’t quite enough. To help curb the DMR 14’s power, Raven Software nerfed its headshot damage and increased its recoil.
