«Oz: The Great and Powerful» is a very confusing step backward, all arguments of cheap Hollywood-remake cash-grabbing aside. The original «The Wizard of Oz» was significantly ahead of its time in terms of feminism, and it’s over 70 years old. This film sucks in terms of the message it’s sending to kids specifically young girls.
